 He might wear suits 

Or steel toed boots

Long as he follows his dreams

Long as he doesn’t live above his means

 I rehearsed these lines a thousand times.

And I still could not get them right.

Because in the moment all one can rely on is gut instinct.

That instinct showcases true identity, real self love.

Forgetting the lines do not make the stage of life disappear 

That's the social dilemma.

This inability to perform for the world

Could be conformity

Could be rebellion

I could know what would happen

And you could choose to believe me

Or stand deep in disbelief

But neither will negate our reality

 Everyday I have wondered for some years now, why are people so stupid? However one chooses to interpret that statement is completely up to that individual. If it is desired to understand the perspective of the author I'll define stupid. 

Stupid: Acting against your own self actualization.
